Planning for term two of CoderDojo Brisbane is well under way. We are excited to host CoderDojo at seven locations in term two, with nine session times in total. For the full list of locations and session times, check out Join a CoderDojo.
As many parents and guardians of our young ninjas know, CoderDojo is a very popular program, with all places filling quickly each term. As a result, we always have a long waitlist and, with this in mind, have created a new process for term two registrations.
Registrations will open at 10am next Tuesday, 5 April for any children who DID NOT participate in the term one program. CoderDojo aims to expose as many kids as possible to coding and technology, and this process allows those who weren’t able to get into term one to participate in term two.
Registrations received from anyone who did participate in the term one program will unfortunately be ruled out.
But any remaining places will be opened up for a second round of registrations on Tuesday, April 12 at 10am.
As places in the CoderDojo program are popular, we ask for your commitment for the duration of the term. If you know your ninja is going to miss a session, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. If two or more consecutive sessions are missed, your place in the program may be reallocated.
One last reminder that ninja registrations will open on the Join a CoderDojo page on Tuesday, April 5 at 10am.
