One last session at Sunnybank Hills Library

Due to popular demand from both participants and mentors, CoderDojo at Sunnybank Hills Library will be continuing for one final session this Saturday 16th November.  Both kids and mentors are excited for one final session to finish off the year with a bang.

CoderDojo at Sunnybank Hills Library was a buzz on Saturday, with all the kids excited to demonstrate their creations. There were eight demonstrations of the creations from the Sunnybank Hills Library CoderDojo sessions, and they were all amazing!

We had an assortment of maze games, cat demonstrations, giant gorilla games and even an interactive game about the libraries in Brisbane, all created using the programs Scratch and Hopscotch.

We also had a demonstration of ‘How to write your own mods for Minecraft’ as well as a demonstration of an iPhone app quiz game one of our participants was able to create.

CoderDojo at Sunnybank Hills Library has been a great success, with the kids thoroughly enjoying the sessions and making some great friendships along the way.

We look forward to one last session this Saturday to finish off the year.

We also have some exciting new locations planned for next year, so stay tuned!
