Don’t miss your last chance in 2013 to be a mentor at CoderDojo Brisbane.
The last CoderDojo session of the year will be held every Saturday from October 5 until November 9 at Sunnybank Hills Library.
More than 70 Brisbane kids have been introduced to the wonderful world of coding, app, web and game development through CoderDojo Brisbane since it launched in June this year and we want this to grow even more.
The success of the CoderDojo Brisbane program is completely dependent on the support of volunteer mentors who donate their expertise and time to assist and guide students through the program.
Anyone can be a mentor. All you need is to be passionate about helping kids learn and be available for a few hours each Saturday of the program.
If you have an interest in coding, technology, programming, that’s a bonus!
CoderDojo Brisbane is the first CoderDojo in Australia. The program is a free movement enabling kids aged 7-17 to learn to code. It is based on the global program CoderDojo, founded in Ireland by James Whelton and Bill Liao in 2011.
